HOW TO GET THERE

There are two different ways to get to Assos-Kadýrga Bay:
If you are coming from European region of Istanbul, route Çanakkale is much shorter and easier. The exact route is:
Istanbul, Tekirdag, Gelibolu, Eceabat, with ferry to Çanakkale, Ezine, Ayvacik, then following the Assos signs you can arrive at Kadirga Bay.

If you are located in Asian region of Istanbul, route Bursa might be better. Take the ferry from Pendik to Yalova (or the old ferries from Eskihisar). Then follow Bursa, Balikesir, Edremit, Küçükkuyu destination. Just before you leave Küçükkuyu, watch for the sign “Behramkale” on the right. Then turn left (towards the sea), drive for about 25 km. On the left you should see “Welcome to Kadirga Bay” if not hidden by one of the other signs.

If you’d like to take a bus to Kadirga Bay, “Truva Turizm” arrives at Ayvacik over Çanakkale or “Kamil Koc Turizm” arrives at Küçükkuyu over Balikesir.

During the high season, there are mini buses that take you from Küçükkuyu to Kadirga Bay or from Ayvacik to Kadirga Bay.

A third alternative is to take the ferry from Yenikapi (European region of Istanbul) to Bandirma. After Bandirma, Biga, Çan, Bayramiç, Ezine, Ayvacik Kadirga Bay. This is much shorter than the previous routes but the road is a bit rough.

From Istanbul to Kadirga Bay, it is about 390 km.

Yenikapi or Pendik-Yalova-Bursa-Balikesir-Edremit-Akçay-Küçükkuyu-Assos
From Yalova to Kadirga Bay it is about 360 km.

From Istanbul to Çanakkale 320 km,
From Çanakkale to Ayvacik 70 km,
From Ayvacik to Kadirga Bay (16 minutes by car.) 17 km,
From Izmir to Kadirga Bay 260 km,
From Balikesir to Kadirga Bay 150 km.
